In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no third-party content. What still happens technically when you visit is described here.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is served via Cloudflare Workers, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When a page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring page and browser and operating system (user agent).

This is required to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is only kept as long as needed for delivery, security and troubleshooting.

A data processing agreement with Cloudflare is in place (Art. 28 GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

3. Fonts

The font used here is served from this domain. No connection is made to external font services such as Google Fonts.

4. Storage in your browser

If you switch between the light and dark colour scheme, your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key "theme". The value never leaves your device and is not sent to me. Storing it is strictly necessary for the function you explicitly requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

If you email me, I process your address and the content of your message in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related requests, otherwise (f)). My mailbox is run on iCloud+ by Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland. I delete messages once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Links to other websites

This website links to external services such as GitHub. No data is sent to them unless you follow a link; from then on, their privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to

• access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal email to me is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
